Introduction
ActPac is a Federal Political Action Committee formed in the Spring of 2007 to support progressive candidates in Chester County. We are a group of Chester County Citizens who want to see change occur in our political environment, encouraging competition for elected offices while removing the control of special interests parties that pour large sums of money into the ruling Republican Party coffers.
Chester County has had a one-party dominated government for more than 100 years while our open space and farmland have been devoured. We are working to break this cycle and have made significant strides over the last 4 years, to recruit the best local candidates to bring good government to our County. By providing the necessary financial resources to these candidates we will elect candidates who will make our local government responsive to the needs of our local community as we undergo rapid growth and changing demographics.
WHAT WE DO
ActPac solicits contributions large and small from prospective donors such as yourself for the purpose of supporting progressive local, state and federal candidates for elected office. ActPac will contribute directly to campaigns and provide support in the form of voter registration drives, coordinated advertising, literature dissemination and get out the vote efforts. ActPac will contribute early seed money to local worthy candidates giving those with limited resources an even chance to mount a competitive political campaign. In this manner, ActPac will be a truly independent voice for change and progressive leadership in Chester County. ActPac provides likeminded progressive voters a vehicle to gain greater control over the governance of Chester County and the chance to end the backroom politics as usual that have dominated for so long. CONTRIBUTE AND TAKE THE PLEDGE TO CHANGE CHESTER COUNTY AND PENNSYLVANIA FOR THE BETTER!
